Anyway, I am currently suffering from what feels like a shattered lower back. Here's how:
We went to Scotty's family reunion yesterday. There was a river. So we got in a tube and floated it. The first time I went, I had Katie, Scotty's 8 year old sister with me in one tube and I was holding onto a 6 year old in another tube. You're already cringing, I know.
But calm down, everything was ok. A rock sticking out of the water drove into my back pretty hard and it hurts so bad today! So take that, times female pain of a different sort=Not such a relaxing Sabbath.
Hunter, the one that is 6, even made me let go and he did fine on his own. Well until we went down the 2nd time and he flipped over and I saved him in the little rapids while other family members watched from the bridge. It wasn't a huge deal. It's not like it was 10 ft deep and the waters were raging. The sad thing however, is that when I was jumped off my tube to grab him, I lost my bracelet my parents gave me for Valentine's Day. It was my favorite and I am sad it is gone. I was dumb for wearing it in the first place.
I truly have more to blog about but I will separate them so you don't get bored. I'm gonna go lay in bed and whine at Scotty that my back hurts now. Haha kidding, he's been doing a good job of making me food and fetching Tylenol for me. Such a good lubber :)
P.S. I want to go tubing again this week again anyway. Who's down to clown?

OUCH! Sorry you had a rock accident!
I love tubing. Sorry you're hurt.
I'm down to clown yo...but I work weekend sorry
That sucks. I totally understand the tubing trauma. I had to save my little bro from the Weber River earlier this summer. Its pretty dramatic while you are in the process. Sorry about your bracelet. Sorry about your back. But you are a hero in my eyes :)
I hope you get feeling better soon! I got attacked by a tube and some rocks when I went tubing once. It's no fun!!
